Meet the Cat Sitter

Hello again!

This year I became a cat sitter to make more furry friends and to create better characters for my stories.

As I did not wish to do this on my own, I chose to register with MadPaws, a pet-sitting business that operates in Australia.

Every cat is unique—much like humans! Each has their own personality, likes, and dislikes. Some are instantly friendly. Some hide in the cupboard until they get to know me better. Some want to sleep with me at night. Some prefer their own space. Some like to play with toys. Some don't.

But all of them love food—especially treats!

I also draw the cats as I get to know them. This is Pip. I have stayed at her place three times now.

I cannot go cat-sitting all the time, as I have two cats waiting for me at home. Sylvester, in particular, is most put out when I go away. When I return, he sleeps on top of me for a few days to reclaim his ownership. Then everything is back to normal!
