Lady falling in the shower.

Opps!

In June this year, I had a fall and twisted my back (very OUCH šŸ˜–). A wake-up call that I need to exercise more! I’m now visiting a physio, doing Clinical Pilates, and trying to get up and walk in the mornings. Success rate? About 20%… but hey, I’ve started. šŸ’Ŗ

No more cat-sitting

Sadly, I’ve also had to press 'pause' on cat-sitting for a while, as I focus on my health. Thank youĀ to all the people who welcomed me into their homes this past year, and to all the beautiful kitties I came to know. It was always sad to say goodbye. 😢

My kitties

On the bright side, Sylvester and Misty were delighted to have me home - especially at mealtimes (yes, they are professional food-beggars šŸ˜€).

So what next?

I’m not entirely sure yet. My next book still needs edits and illustrations (with more cats, of course!). I’m continuing to learn about marketing and wholesaling.

And next year? I would love to take my book to the markets. Maybe it’s time to use up all those craft supplies in a cat-related way. Oh, and visit some real cat cafes in Melbourne and further afield.

So, stay tuned — the journey continues, one step at a time. 🐾.
